I’ve been serving for the government as an army for almost two years. Throughout those years, I’ve been relocated to different countries especially to the desert islands. During the first few months, my life in some strange places was really tough. I’ve been fed up reading books, magazines and all that stuff. There was nothing to but to chat and hang out with my group. I began missing what I do most at home. I started to miss watching my favorite television shows and playing video games.

Playing virtual games for me is definitely something I shouldn’t miss every week. But this favorite home activity of mine is no longer a part of my routine since I entered the military.

When a few weeks leave was given to me, I went home and one of my buddies showed me something that gave a change in my lifestyle as an army man. My friend introduced widescreen video glasses to me. At first, I thought it’s just an ordinary sunglass in a unique design. However, there were earphones attached on both sides. My curiosity increased more so I tried wearing the glasses. But I got excited because I saw a wide screen on it. Widescreen video glasses was what I was actually wearing.

My friend intended to bring the video glasses so he could convince me to get one for myself. He knew that I like movies and video games so he thought I would be interested to wear and use the unique video glasses.

He’s absolutely right. Before I went back to camp in Afghanistan, I bought widescreen video glasses (AV310) model. The AV310 has a remarkable 52-inch widescreen. These 4-ounce video glasses work with iPods and other multimedia devices. Since iPods have smaller screen, I connect and plug it to my video glasses instead. These video glasses are incredible which is what I really need.

When I had these glasses, I was able to watch some television shows while in the desert. When I wasn’t doing anything I can play video games through the use of these glasses. I also bring these widescreen video glasses anywhere even if I’m in a remote places. No matter what my position is, whether I’m sitting or lying down, I can watch in a full size with clear images. If I can’t watch my favorite movie, I will play some video games that I love.

Some of the men in camp borrow my video glasses. If I’m on duty, I would let them use it. But I told them to get one for themselves. Just a few months after, many of my the men in my group used video glasses. Just like me, a lot of them prefer to use widescreen video glasses than anything else during our spare time.

I don’t have any reason to complain anymore wherever what place I go to because I already have my widescreen video glasses that can give me fun entertainment anytime. And I definitely would not go anywhere without my video glasses.
