Court Order Sends Jon And Kate Gosselin To Parenting Class
According to reputable source TMZ, Jon and Kate Gosselin will attend parenting class. This is a mandatory order from the Berks County, Philadelphia judge who is presiding over the contentious Jon and Kate custody case. Both parents of the “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ brood must complete everything by June 8, which includes all associated fees and coursework for the “Children in the Middle” program. This is a seven-hour class that Jon and Kate have to attend in person rather than choosing the online option, but the judge is allowing them to attend separately. This is rather different than same day payday loans, in that Jon and Kate may take more than a single day to finish their parenting class.
Hopefully, Jon and Kate’s parenting class won’t be a spectacle
While it may not meet the agendas of Jon and Kate, the parenting class ” Children in the Middle ” is not a photo opportunity. The parenting class website states that the program directs parents to consider “how families can meet the needs of children growing up between two homes.” Two three-and-one-half hour segments will fill Jon and Kate’s minds with parenting knowledge that apparently do not otherwise possess, including strategies as they apply to adults and to children.
On the adult side, Jon and Kate plus parenting class will be learning a great deal about:
- Understanding oneself
- Understanding the mindset of playing the victim
- Domestic violence: recognition and prevention
- Getting along with the other household
- How will extended family and dating partners fit into your new two-household life?
- Strategies for better co-parenting
- How to grieve in your own way
- Conflict resolution
- How to find third-party dispute resolution
Honoring the “Plus 8″
Jon and Kate are going to have to grind this out; it’s entirely more difficult than Kate dancing on TV or Jon finding younger women to date. However, they must plow through the second and final “Children in the Middle” installment, which focuses specifically on their children. Baby steps through these chapters:
- Understanding how children develop
- Balancing two homes to a child’s benefit
- When it’s time to be a parent
- Child support
- Connecting with your kids
- Understanding a child’s grief
- What children shouldn’t be part of
- How kids perceive co-parent interaction
- Kid perks of co-parenting
- Parental behaviors that can cause child resentment
Play nice and cooperate, Jon and Kate
Get your co-parenting plan set and do right by your children. Two mature parents who can work together is what they need. Living life on camera will not help you achieve that end, so get jobs that will enable you to parent in person rather than by proxy. Jon and Kate: parenting class won’t be so bad. Jon and Kate, parenting class is a place many payday loan-wielding parents have been before. Mind you, most do not have the money you do, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still issues you must work out as you repair your family life. Just don’t use them on each other.

Crystal Bowersox Bobby McGee | American Idol and big plans
If you do karaoke at the bar down the street, you would have been well-prepared for American Idol last night. The Billboard Top Hits theme combined with Miley Cyrus offering her surprisingly good advice was a good place to start. Crystal Bowersox singing Bobby McGee turned out to be one of the very few bright spots in last night's karaoke-like show, though. Friends that usually love the show started going online just to research same day payday loans just to pay for their drinks.
Gospel-like Bobby McGee by Crystal Bowersox
The American Idol Top 11 were instructed to choose a Billboard Number 1 hit for this week's show. Most of the performers used this opportunity to dig up their favorite karaoke hits. The majority of the American Idol Top 11 did not do the Billboard Number 1 hits true justice, though. Crystal Bowersox of the American Idol Top 11 did exactly what everyone was hoping for. Her powerful voice and relaxed demeanor gave the bittersweet “Me and Bobby McGee” the feel of Janis Joplin. The third recording of “Me and Bobby McGee, Janis Joplin's version hit Billboard's Number 1 in 1971, after Joplin had died. On American Idol, the judges seemed to be under the spell of the song and Crystal Bowersox, offering almost nothing but good reviews. Ellen was the only Crystal Bowersox Bobby McGee detractor, saying she felt she needed more of a connection.
The rest of last night's American Idol performances
Despite what many commentators seem to think, there were 10 performances other than the Crystal Bowersox Bobby McGee performance last night. The judges seemed unusually harsh last night, with Randy channeling Simon to actually say that was terrible to Paige Miles. Even though Simon said the song was “too old”, Aaron Kelly sang an acceptable “Don't Want To Miss A Thing” that was even more impressive, given his tonsillitis and laryngitis. Big Mike's “Power of Love” bordered on loungey and corny, but he is most definitely safe for next week.Simon's 1980's cover band comment was appropriate, but Casey's “Power of Love” felt like a love song to the 1980's.The judges were also quite literally blown away by the signature screaming in Siobahn's “Superstitious” singing. The rest of the performers? They have all made it obvious they are trying just hard enough to get onto the American Idol Tour next summer, trying for a paycheck that will qualify them for installment loans for bad credit.
Miley Cyrus mentors the American Idol Top 11
The “official mentor” of Crystal Bowersox and the other American Idol top 11, Miley Cyrus, got a chance to sign Crystal's guitar. Surprisingly for most, Miley Cyrus actually offered decent mentoring for the American Idol Top 11. Miley actually managed to keep this otherwise boring episode interesting at parts, with her inside tidbits about the music industry.
Bowersox's big plans for American Idol
It may seem somewhat presumptuous, but Crystal Bowersox knows that she is safe on American Idol until at least next week. At the end of her judging last night, Crystal Bowersox claimed to have “Big plans for next week”. The possibilities run far and wide, given that next week's theme on American Idol will be “Teen Idols”. FOX hasn't said yet if “Teen Idols” will mean teen artists or artists teens love. Nobody but Crystal Bowersox knows for sure what her big plans are, so we will just have to tune into American Idol next week.
Titanic’s records sunk stove in by Avatar
‘Avatar’ sales reach the sky
We all saw it coming, but it’s still impressive that it happened so quickly. Just six weeks after its release, “Avatar” is the highest-grossing film of all time. It took “Titanic” 10 months to reach that spot. But hey, James Cameron is still the money-makingest director pretty much of all time, so he isn’t going to be needing same day payday loans any time soon,
As of yesterday, “Avatar” had made $ 1.86 billion, compared with “Titanic’s” $ 1.84 billion total. At the moment, “Avatar” still is making almost $ 2 million a day on weekends, so it still has time to add to it’s lead.
Revisionist history
Though “Avatar”is easily in the position of making the most money, the not-so-impressive part is that there is simply more money to be made nowadays because of ticket prices. “Gone with the Wind” has the records for most tickets sold, and it leaves “Avatar” in the dust by far.
“Gone with the Wind” sold 202 million tickets, and “Avatar” pales with a paltry 76 million. Obviously, the fact that Gone with the Wind is still around after 70 years, and occasionally still screened in theaters helps its numbers a bit. Also, when “Gone with the Wind” came out, people didn’t have nearly the selection to choose from that we have now.
Runners-up
The third highest-grossing film after “Avatar” and “Titanic” is “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” with $ 1.12 billion. Fourth is “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” with $ 1.07 billion, and fifth is “The Dark Knight” with $ 1 billion.
“Avatar” still has one milestone to pass, however. Though it doesn’t hold the worldwide record for grosses, “Titanic” still holds the record in the U.S. sales with $ 600 million. “Avatar” would need to sell another $ 45 million to catch up.
