It was believed that Audrey Hepburn wore a pair in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s but those weren’t Ray Ban Wayfarer sun shades.

The Wayfarers went thru redesign and the result was the Ray Ban New Wayfarer 2132. The new Ray Ban 2132 sports a smaller less angled frame, and changed from acetate to a lighter injected plastic.

The changed proved successful as the style regained its recognition as the RB2132 might be seen on stars and is ever present in popular culture.
