Here is How you Get Voice Over Auditions

This is what helped me to land a voice over audition. The first think I suggest you do is to look for someone in the field who you can go to for advice. Also you should try and learn from this person if you look up them.

Here is a list of current voice-over auditions in your area. You want to make sure you fill out the form accurately so that you get a list in your city and not someone else’s.

Being in the industry as a casting director for 15 years, I’ll show you how I select candidates who are in voiceover auditions. First of all, voiceovers are not as easy as it looks. You must always be improving. Keep that in mind that voiceovers talent isn’t just something you acquire, but also needs to be challenged and adapted all the time. Your attitude needs to be on point when you go into these voice over auditions.

Now that you got the skill set part handled, you need to be able to find these voiceover auditions. The trick to this is to be able to network and meet new people. Don’t be scared to ask for help. You can even read about it in bookstores and get better at networking.

Try looking for the audition and the year, for example nickelodeon auditions 2009. I would enter in my information so that I could find a list of auditions I could go to.
