Auditions for TV Commercials
When attending an audition for commercials, here’s what you should expect. At a commercial audition there will be a lot of things going on at one time. You’ll see a lot of people there with different tasks that they do. These people can include, but not be limited to the casting directors, staff, and crew.
What to Expect at the Commercial Audition
It’ll be good to be social able and friendly to everyone that you meet. This is because you never know who will be the producer and if the staff introduces you or not. The person you talk to may look like a run-of-the-mill crew person, but in actuality is the lead casting director.
I know that it can be nerve-racking, but just try to calm yourself down. You can calm yourself down by doing breathing exercises or visualizing your success.
You can start by getting a TV commercial casting.
At a commercial audition, casting directors will have already seen a lot of candidates when it comes to your turn. If you add on top of that a bad attitude, it’ll mess up your chances of getting the role. It’ll help your chances if you dress professional and act with the right attitude.
It’ll finally come to your chance to introduce yourself and do so with a smile. In the industry, it’s called a slate when you tell them your name and what agency represents you. Commercial auditions may vary so what comes next will also vary. You may be asked to say some lines or come up with a monologue of your own.

When it comes to leave the audition, make sure you bid farewell to the casting directors and they will tell you that they’ll keep in touch with your agent if they like you. I wish you the best of luck in Hollywood or in the entertainment industry.
