One of the most recognizable and most likable stars in Hollywood is Brad Pitt. His recent nomination for an Oscar demonstrates how well his superior ability to assume charcater roles is measured by the general population and his Hollywood peers. However, Brad Pitt was not always a huge Hollywood favorite. His rise to stardom has taken nearly two decades and has seen him absorbed with several serious relationships with his co-stars.

In the beginning of his career, Brad Pitt worked menial jobs to support himself and often shared boarding expenses with other ambitious actors, one of those actors was Juliette Lewis a 16 year old co-star in the movie ‘Too Young To Die’. Finally in 1987 Brad Pitt landed his first big part in ‘The Dark Side of the Sun’. Of which he was paid a little more than 10,000 dollars. While this movie promised to accelerate Brad Pitt to the big screen, a tragic incident averted the release until 1997, and well after Brad Pitt had already made his mark on the big screen.

The movie that did put him on top was ‘Thelma and Louise’ released in 1991 where Brad Pitt portrays a hot hunk in a steamy seduction scene. Even though the scene was brief, it was enough to accumulate plenty of fans that would soon come to adore him.

The next big step in Brad Pitt’s career was his role in the 1995 film ‘Se7en’, co-starring Morgan Freeman and actress Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he would have a 2 year relationship and engagement. In 1997, Brad broke off his engagement to Paltrow and in 1998 after appearing on the TV series ‘Friends’, he started dating Jennifer Aniston, whom he married in 2000. Their 5-year marriage ended when Aniston filed for divorce in the spring of 2005.

Shortly after his divorce, Brad Pitt began dating his co-star in the film ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’, Angelina Jolie. Their relationship has likely been the most stable of all Brad’s past love connections, as Brad and Angelina have adopted 3 children together and are the parents of three more, including a set of twins recently born at their home in France.

Currently Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are residing in a palatial estate in Long Island while Jolie finishes filming of her next project. While both Brad and Angelina were nominated for Oscars this year, He will continue to act and produce movies for many years, as he is a hot commodity in Hollywood. However, according to Brad, he is very happy in his relationship with Angelina and his availability on the love market is pretty much closed.
