The San Diego Comic Con, which has been abbreviated to SDCC to the fans around the globe, is the most popular gathering in the geek diary by far. The combination of celebrity panels, exclusive upcoming movie footage, comic book workshops, collectibles and the atmosphere have become the contentment of comic popular cult legend. It is paradise for film and comic geeks, and a great number of the attendees that go to the The San Diego Comic Con each year have flown there from all over the world.

Every year the biggest films and T.V. programs within the pop culture industry are announced with never seen before footage and news from the production crews, actors and actresses and crew themselves. This year is no different. The ’09 The San Diego Comic Con is the biggest one ever, with a handful of the most exciting and anticipated sci-fi movies, comics and rare film props getting their 1st ever exposure at the event.

Want a little taste of what’s to come? At this year’s convention there shall be the very first exposure of cinematic clips from James Cameron’s Avatar, which is being touted as the most awaited sci fi movie in a long time, and a welcome return to the film directors stand for James Cameron.
