Dreamlike film was shot on location in remote Amazon forests; Kinski is perfect as the crazy Aguirre. Cast includes Klaus Kinski, Ruy Guerra, Del Negro, Helena Rojo, Cecilia Rivera, and Peter Berling.  (94 minutes, 1972)

Airheads: 3 metalheads with toy guns reluctantly take a music station prisoner, wishing to get play for their one and only demo tape. Not precisely the most difficult subject to satirize, although the script is weakanyway. A somewhat vigorous direction and compact running time help a tad. (91 minutes, 1994)

The Lost Boys: Family moves to a California town where the local adolescent clique turns out to be vampires! Smooth film aimed at adolescent spectators. Both the humor and the structuring are pretty apparent. Only genuine fireworks materialize at the end in the very last showdown. Cast includes Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Dianne Wiest, Bamard Hughes, Edward Herrmann, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Feldman, and Jamison Newlander. (97 minutes, 1987)

Alias Jesse James: One of Wish’s funniest has him an inusurance sales associate out West, incorrect for a sharpshooter. Fleming is a pleasant Western belle, and the 2 do a cute melody together. Cast includes Bob Wish, Rhonda Fleming, Wendell Corey, Jim Davis, and Gloria Talbott. (92 minutes, 1959)

The Music Man: Peerless Preston reprises his Broadway role as a terrific sales associate con guy Prof. Harold Hil who captivates Iowa town with visions of uniformed marching band. Cast includes Robert Preston, Shirley Jones, Friend Hackett, Hermione Gingold, Paul Ford, Pert Kelton, and Ronny Howard.  (151 minutes, 1962)

The Guyver: All-American Armstrong, contaminated by an extraterrestrial device, finds that he is an armored superhero, an excellent thing, as long as virtually everyone else in the film might turn into a frightening beast, like CIA representative Hamill, who turns into a large cockroach. Awkward clumps of humor only make the contrived structure appear even more mindless. (92 minutes, 1992)

Just a Little Harmless Sex: After a spouse throws her hushand out of the home (because he picked up a hooker one day) their matrimony is put in emergency mode. She hails her lady friends together for guidance, and he does the identical with the gentlemen. Then they all unite at a local club. This film is a somewhat amusing, low cost romantic comedy with an extremely desirable cast. Cast includes Alison Eastwood, Lauren Hutton, Kimberly Williams, Jonathan Silverman, Jessica Lundy, Rachel Hunter, and William Ragsdale. (98 minutes, 1999)

Mr. Nanny: Lame brained comedy characterizing Hogan as a fighter employed to look after a set of ruined, disregarded rich kids (whom nut ball Johansen is plotting to abduct). Cast includes Terry “Hulk” Hogan (Bollea), Sherman Hemsley, Austin Pendleton, Robert Gorman, Madeline Zima, and David Johansen.  (84 minutes, 1984)

The Sugarland Express: Exact amusement, based on truth, in regards to a youthful couple escaping to Sugarland, Texas, to recover their child (whom they decline to give up for adoption), and the cops who chase them all the way through Texas. Cast includes Goldie Hawn, Ben Johnson, Michael Sacks, William Atherton, Steve Kanaly, and Louise Latham.  (109 minutes, 1974)
