Groovy baby -cinemas most hippest spies

We’ve all got our own personal super spy- a name who risks it all for their country, consequences be damned. Here’s the spies you’ll call upon to save the day and have a martini with afterwards.

Bond- James Bond. It just wouldnt be a list of top spies without him would it? With a gorgeous girl on his arm, the best gadgets and tuxedo neatly pressed while saving the world, Bond showed us how to do things with style. We will all argue over who is the best actor to play him, but 007′s abilities are never in any question. Bond is the person we think of when we hear the term ‘spy’, and nobody does it better.

Harry Palmer- Micheal Caine played the Anti Bond. A world apart from Bond, the Palmer films took places in gritty settings, with Palmer himself a mirror image of Bond. Nowhere near as flashy, without Bond’s background, looks and sporting glasses, what Palmer did know what to do was get the job done, which he did in 5 films.

Austin Powers -the 60s number one spy, who was unfroze in the 90s to fight Dr. Evil. A send up of all the great spy movies and spies, he had Bond gadgets, Palmers glasses, and his own unique charm. Wed always get a good laugh as he saved the day in the most outrageous ways. The Austin Powers movies paid trbiute to creator Mike Myer’s favourite spy films and carved out a niche all of their own.

Jason Bourne. It took millions of dollars and years to make him good at what he does, but one wrong mission ends up with Bourne not knowing who he is, and inches from death. While Bond struggled to adapt to the nineties, Bourne slots in perfectly, blending in with the crowd rather than standing out, but not afraid to hijack a car when need called for it. Tracked by the very people who’d trained him, it was their very training that saved him time and again.
