Who doesn’t love the Simpsons family?  With its loveable characters, funny gags, and witty lines, everyone is sure to get a good laugh when watching The Simpsons.

But here’s the deal – you get to laugh along with them even on your Nintendo Wii!  The Simpsons Game Wii is a fun and enjoyable game featuring America’s dysfunctional family, the Simpsons.  

The game lives true to its name and incorporates favorite Simpson lines and gags, characters, game parodies, and out of this world scenes that Simpsons fanatics are sure to love.  In fact, the whole game is not even much of a game itself, but a long episode instead.  

The good thing about the Simpsons game is that it features fantastic dialogue that makes fun of gaming clichés and the Simpsons themselves.  Visuals is highly commendable, and there are loads of stuff to gather and unlock along the way.

Unfortunately, gameplay is not too good, and sometimes the camera actually gets in the way of the player’s view.  The game can be beat in as fast as six hours, and sometimes the Wii control scheme is unresponsive and clumsy.

When playing the game, you’ll get a good dose of the Simpsons humour applied to the gaming world.  You’ll encounter parodies of Grand Theft Auto, EverQuest, Medal of Honor, and classics like Joust and Gauntlet.  The makers of this game even lifted out old episodes of the show and made them into game levels, featuring Linguo the grammar robot, or the evil dolphins who wanted to take over Springfield.  

All this humour is enough to disguise the average gameplay of The Simpsons Game.  And although some missions might be boring and simple, fans of The Simpsons will surely appreciate the humour injected into this game.
