Because of this, it is alsoiinevitable that many Korean actors have gained popularity in the Philippines. Korean language has become popular in the country as well. It has somehow affected the Philippine entertainment industry in a number of ways. Their music has dominated the local radio for several weeks. Recently, popular Korean pop celebrities like 2NE1 and the Wonder Girls have visited the country due to the popular demand among the locals. In addition to that, the popular Korean heartthrob Kim Bum from one of the most popular Korean shows Boys over Flowers came to the country for RC Cola commercial project with Phillippines native actress Maja Salvador.
